A Tribute Honoring Our Seasoned Saints

Join the SJBC Seasoned Saints Ministry on Sunday, June 2, 2013 @ 2:00 PM at Waterford at Springfield, 6715 Commerce Street, Springfield, VA.

The scripture, we will use as our theme will be Joshua 13:1, “Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.” We want to convey to our seniors that we are grateful we have their wisdom and experience to help claim more land for the Kingdom of God and train the next generation.

All are welcome to attend; however, tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will be available for purchase before and after Sunday worship service and Thursday bible study. Tickets are $35.00 and include a delicious buffet . [SJBC members may attend for a donation of $20.00.]

The guest preacher will be Dr. Luther Bailey, Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Lorton, VA.
